The heart of it all

I’m a surface pattern designer with a fine art background who believes great design tells a story—and even better design gets lived with, loved, and passed down.

My creative journey began behind the camera. I studied photojournalism at Asbury University and photography at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana, where I learned to see beauty in honest moments, thoughtful details, and everyday life. That foundation now shapes my work as a surface pattern designer and graphic designer, where storytelling, composition, and emotion are always at the heart of what I create.

I’m endlessly inspired by meaningful details: layered textures, balanced color palettes, and designs that feel both joyful and timeless. I believe great design should feel elevated yet approachable—artful without trying too hard.  I believe in quality over quantity and in letting design breathe. Less really is more. Every piece I create is carefully considered, from the first sketch to the final details. I’m hands-on, detail-oriented, and deeply invested in the process—because good design deserves time and care.

I’m obsessed with printed art and tangible design. I believe artwork should be held, displayed, framed, and lived with—not lost in a digital folder. Surround yourself with beauty. Celebrate your people. Fill your spaces with reminders of joy, story, and the goodness of everyday life.

That’s where my heart—and my work—live.
